there’s a special place in hell for people that tell you to calm down when you’re already calm during an argument
It’s especially unsettling when they watch you clean their box.

Just a little FYI, my friends Renee and Kenny run a super cute bookstore in Singapore called Books Actually. They now carry the Cat Vs Human books! And every Wednesday they have an event with Cat Welfare Society. The first session starts on May 30 at 7:30 pm.
Find the kitty in the pic :)

I wasn’t allowed to watch the first Lord of the Rings movie until I finished both the Hobbit and the trilogy. It may have taken me a year (I was ten) and I missed the premier, but damn it I did it! And it’s now one of my favorite series.I’m curious how many people have, because it feels like I’m the only one.
ohohohohoho you are not
not at all
don’t worry you are not alone :)
Not only have I read it, I own a special edition of it with gilded Elvish text on the spine that I’m extremely proud of.
many many times
Yeah 8th grade
I read it when I was 12 or so. It definitely wasn’t my favorite >.
25 abandoned Yugoslavia monuments that look like they’re from the future
“These structures were commissioned by former Yugoslavian president Josip Broz Tito in the 1960s and 70s to commemorate sites where WWII battles took place or where concentration camps stood. They were designed by different sculptors and architects, conveying powerful visual impact to show the confidence and strength of the Socialist Republic. In the 1980s, these monuments attracted millions of visitors per year, especially young pioneers for their ‘patriotic education.’ After the Republic dissolved in early 1990s, they were completely abandoned, and their symbolic meanings were forever lost. From 2006 to 2009, Kempenaers toured around the ex-Yugoslavia region with the help of a 1975 map of memorials, bringing before our eyes a series of melancholy yet striking images.”
always reblog!
JCPenny’s Same-Sex Mother’s Day Catalog Photo
And as usual, a group of women who bored us with their complaints on Urban Outfitters and Toys ‘R’ Us before, as known as “One Million Moms”, has anti-gay things to say, or pardon me but simply shenanigans about this photo. To learn more, check out the story from Huffington Post by clicking here.
Aaaand this is why I love JC Penney!
Yup I’m reblogging this again.
Can this One Million Moms group go away now? All they’re doing is spreading hatred and bigotry. This ad makes me super happy, just to see LGBT people be represented like this! (:
